Way To Go, Eddie!

Sun Valley Builders wants to take a moment to recognize and congratulate our Superintendent, Eddie, for his second campus wide remodel within the Roosevelt School District! Eddie is a team-player who pays attention to details, both big and small. Eddie played a key role in the amazing renovations at John R. Davis Elementary. These renovations consisted of re-constructing the administration building and creating an open and functional space for the faculty and staff! Next, we completely renovated the library and turned it into a beautiful, fully interchangeable makerspace for endless options of making a fun and creative learning environment. Eddie then helped to organize a teacher breakfast for J.R. Davis, encouraging the staff and teachers to enjoy their newly improved space with some coffee, bagels, and take-home coffee cups! The cherry on top is Eddie’s commitment to the Roosevelt School District and the relationships he’s built over time. You are appreciated deeply by many. Keep up the good work, Eddie!

$300 Million Bond!

The bigger the bond, the bigger our reach. We are excited to announce our $300 Million bond letter that was just awarded to us. We can take on bigger projects while still taking care of our clients. We can do anything from a remodel, all the way to new builds! We have a $150 Million bond for one single project, perfect for new construction. Altogether, our aggregate bond is $300 Million, a great position for growth.

Bike Race

It’s that time of year again when the weather starts to cool down, the bikes come out, and the SVB team starts their training for our annual Bike Race from Dawn till Dusk! This is one of our favorite team bonding activities with a view – held at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. This course is an intermediate 16.5 mi. loop that has a 917 ft. elevation gain and is 60% singletrack. It takes 12 hours to complete, and if there’s one thing we know, we are always up for a good challenge!

Buckeye Union 5 Secured Entry Ways

Buckeye Union High School District hired Sun Valley Builders to upgrade the(5) campuses to secured entry ways at Youngker HS, Estrella Foothills HS, Buckeye Union HS, The Learning Center, and the District Office. These upgrades will include complete interior demolition of the pre-existing administration buildings, adding new aluminum doors and frames with new door hardware and special security systems, 2-way intercoms, and bullet resistant film at all new window walls and doors. We also added new paint, flooring in select areas, and Youngker even got new millwork at the administration desks. Sun Valley Builders also provided in-house design for all 5 campuses utilizing OST (On-Screen Takeoff).

Upcoming Re-Brand

We can hardly believe that in 2024, it marks Sun Valley Builder’s 10-year anniversary! With all the growth, expansion and development Sun Valley Builders has gone through over the years, we see it fit to re-brand in efforts to reflect who we’ve grown into today as a company. We are overjoyed with the excitement this brings and are looking forward to sharing the same quality and commitment to our clients, strategic partners, and team members – just with a new look!

NEW Safety Policies

Being a General Contractor who solely focuses on the K-12 and Higher Education sectors, it’s no surprise that safety is one of the top priorities Sun Valley Builders focuses on. If there is one thing we are eager to improve day by day, it is finding the best method of approach for making sites safe and all persons involved. As our company grows in every direction possible, we believe it is a good time to re-amp our Safety Policies.

We kicked-off our new safety policies with a mandatory safety meeting, which included new tools and tricks to help our field and operations team measure the safety of their sites. Furthermore, we are implementing quarterly safety meetings in efforts of continuing safety education. Safety isn’t just for the sites, but also the road. We make sure all our employees commuting from point A to point B have taken a safety driving course, reminding even the safest of drivers to slow down, check blind spots, and be courteous of others on the road. With mandatory fingerprint clearance cards and background checks, you can be assured with peace of mind that your Sun Valley Builders crew is one of integrity.
